Your pre-installation survey includes all the necessary checks to ensure your car, home and infrastructure is set up for a successful EV charger install. This will determine if your property receives a standard or non-standard install.
This is simply the difference between having a charger with a cable attached (tethered) and a charger without (untethered). Please be aware that should you purchase an untethered charger you will need to provide your own cable.
The varying price of installs can often depend on the level of service provided, such as a pre-installation home survey being included, or if there are additional costs needed following the determination of your install being non-standard.
