Indra launches a Gulf limited edition smart EV home charger

Indra has launched a new Gulf Edition of its Smart PRO Electric Vehicle (EV) charger. Presented in iconic Gulf livery, the British designed, engineered and manufactured Indra Smart PRO (Gulf Edition) combines best-in-class software and hardware with unrivalled reliability to offer EV drivers cost-effective, intelligent charging.

Gulf's legendary orange and blue racing colours are one of the most recognised liveries in the motorsport community. On this limited-edition Smart PRO, the light blue fascia features the Gulf logo with the charging connector base highlighted in the iconic orange colour.

The feature-rich Gulf Edition model offers the same pioneering attributes of the standard Smart PRO, including smart-scheduling and off-peak charging, a fast home charging speed of up to 7.4kWh, house-fuse protection, solar panel integration, a boost option for immediate charging and advanced safety features. Its cutting-edge tariff integration also enables end users to access the cheapest and greenest tariffs, including Type of Use tariffs such as Ovo Charge Anytime, which currently offers a special EV charging rate of 10p p/kWh.

All Indra chargers are equipped with industry leading, proprietary, and patented PEST™ technology making it the safest EV charger on the market. The Smart PRO will automatically receive remote over-the-air (OTA) software updates to keep it getting smarter every day. It also comes with an industry-leading five-year warranty and class-leading water and dust protection, offering total peace of mind.

The Smart PRO (Gulf Edition) is paired with the new Indra App, which enables EV drivers to easily access and manage their charging features from their phones. Drivers can also choose to charge by mileage, energy or cost and, for enhanced security, can lock and unlock access to the charger remotely.
