Leading British EV and smart energy technology business, Indra, today announces the appointment of a new member of its executive team.
James Falla joins as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the company’s headquarters in Malvern, Worcestershire.
With over 20 years’ experience in the automotive industry, James will play a major role in helping to scale the business during a time of planned, exponential growth. James was previously COO at fuel-cell manufacturer Ceres Technology and has held senior positions at Air International and TRW Automotive, where he was responsible for globally scaling up business and launching products across multiple international markets.
On joining the business, James Falla comments: “I’m passionate about the new energy technology sector and Indra is a true British innovator in this space. I’m looking forward to being involved in shaping the business as it grows and delivering best-in-class efficiency and innovation in its operations.”

The appointment follows Indra’s recent announcements of exclusive partnerships with several leading UK brands1 to supply their customers with its high-performance Smart PRO charger and a seamless home installation service. Earlier this year, Indra launched the world’s largest trial of Vehicle-to-Home bi-directional charging technology and, with the rapid expansion of EV ownership, Indra is strengthening its position as a leading player in the smart home EV charging and energy technology space both in the UK and internationally.
