"Great design and features on the LUX. I'm able to use my solar to charge my car when producing, which is more efficient than standard chargers. Great after sales customer service."

Yes, all Indra chargers will work with any new EV sold in the UK currently, regardless of make or model. If you change your car, the charger will still be compatible with your new EV. Simply update your car in the app and keep using it as before.
Some older cars with CHADeMO connectors are unlikely to work with Indra’s chargers, as older charging connectors are being phased out.
The price will vary depending on the model of charger you select. However, the charger prices on our site all include a standard installation, unlike many of our competitors, who add installation charges after purchase.
If the installation process is not a standard one, there may be an increased price to manage this, but our quotation will always be transparent with no hidden extra costs.
Where the installation proves not to be a standard one, there is the option to get a refund instead of proceeding if you’re not happy with the additional costs.
No, once the charger has been purchased and installed, the only charges are for the use of power to your EV, which are fixed by your energy tariff and supplier. When our chargers are paired with smart EV tariffs, you will benefit from the cheapest possible rates, ensuring significant savings over using public charging and even standard home electricity tariffs.
A driveway or garage with a power supply is the ideal solution for installing an Indra EV charger. If you live in a terraced street with on-street parking, you will require additional solutions for installing your charger. There are government grants available for pavement gullies to allow the charging cable to reach the vehicle without creating a trip hazard.
There’s no trial period, but refunds are available up until the installation takes place if you choose not to proceed. The refund policy also applies if you don’t qualify for a standard installation and are unhappy with the additional costs required to complete it.
In either case, you can request a refund for the charger prior to installation. If a refund is issued, the installation process will be closed, and no further installation work will proceed.
For a standard installation, which is approximately 70% of all customers, the price is as advertised on our site for the model of charger selected.
For installations which are not standard, the additional costs will be quoted for before you commit to buying the charger. The quote will be fixed, and there will be no hidden additional costs, although you can get a full refund if you aren’t happy to proceed with the extra costs.
We ask all customers to complete a simple online survey to assess the suitability of their home and the ease of installation of the charger. We will then be able to let you know if your home is suitable or needs additional work to install a charger. Over 70% of customers qualify for a standard installation, and it is possible if you have:
- a suitable connection where the charger can be hardwired
- a parking space nearby
- an internet connection
As the charger is wired into the house’s electrical supply, a certified electrician must manage the installation.
When you purchase an Indra charger from our website, your price will include a certified, professional standard installation by a qualified electrician from our trusted network.
Where the installation is not a standard install, any additional costs will be agreed prior to any work taking place.
Installation consists of four simple steps:
Installation normally takes around 2-4 hours and can be arranged at a time that is convenient to you.
The cost of running the charger will depend on the energy tariff you are signed up for, and the size of the EV’s battery. Indra chargers integrate with 1000s of electric tariffs, including smart EV tariffs, which ensure you’ll always benefit from the cheapest available rates for charging your vehicle.
