Who provides this warranty
This warranty is provided by Indra Renewable Technologies Limited (“Indra”), registered in England and Wales, which is responsible for the performance and obligations described herein, for Indra Products purchased on or after 05/12/2025.
Product warranty overview
Indra offers a standard product warranty for 3 years, starting from the date of installation by a qualified electrical contractor.
Certain products may be subject to different warranty terms. The applicable warranty period and conditions will be specified in the product documentation, on the product packaging, or at the point of sale.
What this warranty covers
This warranty ensures your Indra Product will:
Be free from material defects in materials or workmanship under normal use;
Conform to the description of the Indra Product as published on our website at the time of purchase;
Be covered for repairs to material faults caused by the manufacturing process, provided you are the registered owner and owner obligations are met.
Repairs and replacements
If Indra cannot resolve the fault remotely, Indra may, at its sole discretion:
Appoint an Indra engineer or approved subcontractor to repair the product on-site.
Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or better specification.
Indra will cover the cost of parts, labour, and delivery for faults confirmed under warranty. The repaired or replaced product remains under the original warranty period (no extension). Removed parts become Indra’s property immediately upon removal.
What's not covered
This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from:
Non-compliance with the User Guide or installer instructions.
Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or installation by non-certified electricians.
Improper installation or faults caused by installation components (e.g., cables, breakers, consumer units) unless Indra performed the installation. Where Indra has contracted and managed the installation through an approved third-party installer, a 12 month installation warranty applies to ancillary components, but excludes damage caused by third parties after installation, environmental conditions, or misuse. Labour for repairs under this installation warranty is included only for faults confirmed as the responsibility of Indra or its appointed installer.
Lack of mobile or Wi-Fi coverage, or failures in broadband, SIM, or electricity supply.
Use of non-Indra parts or accessories.
Cosmetic wear and tear (e.g., discolouration, corrosion).
Accidents, negligence, abuse, misuse, or physical damage.
Continued use after reporting a fault without Indra’s advice.
Tampering with connectivity modules or unauthorised communication methods.
Outstanding or defaulted payments for the Indra Product.
Force majeure events (e.g., fire, flood, lightning, natural disasters).
Environmental conditions outside product specifications (e.g., extreme temperatures, water ingress).
Indra does not guarantee:
Compatibility with all EV models.
Charging according to all schedules.
Availability or compatibility of future software updates with older products.
Limitation of liability
Indra’s maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the Indra Product. Indra accepts no liability for:
Loss of profit, business interruption, missed workdays.
Costs for alternative transportation or external charging.
Any indirect, special, or consequential losses.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this warranty limits liability for:
Rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Breach of terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
Transferability & moving home
This warranty is transferable to the next homeowner if the product remains installed at the original property and Indra is notified. The warranty is void if the product is moved to another site without Indra’s involvement.
Indra will assess the issue remotely and may arrange a site visit or request the unit be returned. If the fault is not covered, Indra may issue a repair/replacement quote. If return is required, Indra will reimburse reasonable removal and postage costs agreed in advance.
