Junior Project Manager

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our award winning team to work on the development and delivery of our technology consumer products.


Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will play a key role in project delivery performance within the business, with key responsibilities:

  • Support to the delivery of projects, to include:

    • Creation and management of project schedules

    • Financial forecasting

    • Quote generation

    • Invoicing against projects

    • Project reporting

  • Working closely with Engineering and Production teams to ensure effective alignment and co-ordination of their scope

  • Liaison and development of positive working relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers

  • Management of resource profiles and allocation to projects

  • Organisation and co-ordination of project status reviews and design reviews

  • Deputising for the Programme Manager as required

Essential Skills:

  • Preferably degree-qualified in a relevant discipline, with 2+ years relevant experience

  • Experience in the following areas:

    • Scheduling

    • Reporting

    • Financial / budgetary management

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision

  • Able to co-ordinate work across multiple teams and projects

  • Effective influencing skills

  • Knowledge of operating within an ISO 9001 quality system

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies

  • APM / PMI qualified

  • Experience in an engineering business
