We’ve designed our Indra smart EV Chargers with installers in mind, so you can fit and forget every time.
Here we share our top tips for hassle-free, smooth installations with our innovative product design and installer resources. At Indra, we want you to fit once by buying (and installing) right.
Making the smart choice
We work in partnership with our network of approved installers, which is why we’re dedicated to supporting you to make the best installation every time.
With our unique PESTs technology and unrivalled product reliability, it’s never been easier to install our product right first time, every time. And if something does go wrong, our knowledgeable customer service team is on hand to support you.
Effective PESTs control
We know nuisance tripping can be, well, a nuisance, costing you time and money on return site visits. That is why we have created our own PESTs technology to eliminate the need for return site visits. Our proprietary and patented PESTs solution comprises best-in-class technology for:
P — PEN faults
E — earthing faults
S — simultaneous contact risks
T — touch voltage risks
We also believe that house-fuse protection should come as standard with every EV charger, which is why it is built into every one of our smart Indra chargers. Coupled with our world-leading R&D programme and dynamic load balancing technology, it’s easy to see how our chargers are the most reliable option on the market. Click here to find out more.
We’re better connected
Our Indra chargers come complete with a cellular, 4G dongle and hardwired connectivity options, offering you the most flexible installation methods in the UK.
That means you will be able to complete your install in up to five times more circumstances than other charger points. This not only dramatically reduces your install aborts, it also enables you to maximise your work efficiency.
As the only EV Charging company to have remote diagnostics with our dedicated charging app, you can rest assured that we’re using the smartest technology to help our customers and support your callout times. Our integrated features with PESTs technology and over-the-air diagnostics, coupled with our dedicated customer support team, means we offer you the first line of support to enable you to fit right first time, every time.
No matter the process, it’s always important to equip yourself with the right tools and that’s no different with Indra EV charger installations. There are a number of tools you’ll need to install an Indra charger, including an IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) Punchdown tool, as well as an RJ45 Crimping Tool Kit for when hard-wiring the internet connection the device, along with the terminating the external CT clamp. A full list of equipment can be found in our installation guides.
You can also purchase bespoke Indra Smart Charger Installation Kits via the Replenishh website.
Where to purchase our chargers
We’re proud to be a British manufacturer and have high availability of stock. In order to purchase our EV chargers, there are two routes you can use: for wholesale orders in batches of 42 units, you can purchase from us directly; from January 17th 2022, we’re delighted to announce that we will be launching our partnership with Replenishh to also offer single purchase options.
