Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Programming experience in C or variants
  • Experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
  • Knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
  • Any level of experience considered

Responsibilities

  • Detailed analogue and digital design including schematic capture and board layout.
  • Analog & digital circuit design and verification.
  • Prototype testing and analysis.
  • Ability to source components and work with component vendors.
  • Programming and debugging embedded systems firmware.
  • Development of production test specifications and procedures.
  • Preparation of bill of materials

 

Requirements

  • Good balance of theoretical and practical experience and must be "hands on" in an electronics industrial environment and have experience using basic test equipment.
  • Able to work independently or part of a small team

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed

Vehicle Integration Engineer

 

Responsibilities

  • The initial system bring-up, spec validation, test design and implementation, and release from design validation to production validation.
  • Troubleshoot existing system issues
  • Supporting, sustaining and servicing
  • Exploring future systems redesign and implementation, including fault detection and reporting methodology redesign, implementation, and validation.
  • Factory acceptance testing for any import vehicles
  • Fitting factory options to new vehicles
  • Managing day to day workshop activities
  • Managing stock levels
  • Working closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and risks mitigated

Requirements

  • Experience in vehicle mechanics (Electric Vehicle experience a bonus)
  • Experience working with project time scales
  • Skilled in motor/gearbox coupler design is desirable
  • Organisational skills including organising a small team
